3M VHB Tape 5962 is a 1.6mm thick black double coated acrylic foam tape with PE film liner. The modified acrylic adhesive on both sides bonds to a broad range of high, medium and medium/low surface energy substrates including metal, glass and a wide variety of plastics and paints, including powder-coated paints. It can replace rivets, welds and screws. The fast and easy to use permanent bonding method provides high strength and long term durability.
