Dowsil 688 glass, metal and masonry sealant is a high performance, neutral cure silicone sealant designed for a wide range of glazing and weather sealing applications. Similar formulation to 580 in foil packaging.

  • Neutral cure
  • Very low slump, ideal for overhead joints
  • Excellent resistance to weathering and UV
  • Joint movement capability of (+/-25%)

Applications

  • General glazing
  • Adheres to glass, aluminium, brick, concrete, steel, ceramic, fibreglass, rubber, enamel and painted surfaces
  • Can be used on monolithic glass, pyrolytic coatings and laminated glass
  • Cladding/facade sealant
  • Window perimeter sealant

Notes

  • Some applications may require the use of a specific Dowsil primer
