Backing & Small Joint Sealants
Trusted for years in the industry. Glasscorp Anoseal Backing Sealant is an exclusive, it has extremely good resistance to exterior exposure. The dried adhesive film is tough and resilient. It is not designed as a joint sealant for high movement joints. A strong bond is formed quickly due to the fast evaporation of solvent. Being nitrile rubber based it has exceptionally high chemical and oil and solvent resistance.

Applications
- Backing seal, galv seal or over-seal used in the manufacture of powder-coated aluminium window frames
- Bonds to most common substrates and surfaces (porous or non-porous, smooth or rough)
WGANZ Testing
- Tested and certified to conform with WGANZ requirements for sealants used to manufacture powder-coated aluminium joinery
- A copy of the current test certificate is available in the Technical Information section for this product
Notes
- Substrates should first be cleaned with Glasscorp Cleaner 7803 or 7805 using the two cloth cleaning method
- Some applications may require the use of a specific solvent cleaner or primer
